Our Services
The Solent Pet Care Company's service options consist of 20, 30 or 40 minute visits to your home. We specialise in looking after your pets when you’re not able to be there, catering to their individual requirements, and cover the following services:
Doggie 'Drop-Ins'
Toilet breaks in the garden, feeding, playtime, or just some companionship. Ideal for puppies, elderly dogs, or dogs home alone.
Small Animal Visits
Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens, reptiles and more! Feeding, fresh water, cleaning and any additional care requirements.
Cat Feeding
Includes feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and cuddles. Perfect for stress- free pet care while you're away.
Photos and Updates
Receive daily updates & photos straight to your phone for peace of mind.
Short Dog Walks
Need someone to exercise your dog while you're out? We offer short dog walks straight from your front door.
Home Checks and Small Tasks
Whether it's bringing in parcels and post, watering plants or taking the bins out, we're happy to help!
About Us
The Solent Pet Care Company was born from a passion of caring for animals. We specialise in pet visits in the Warsash, Locks Heath & Fareham areas, looking after your pets & home when you are unable to be there.
By providing the option of a more focussed 20, 30 or 40 minute home visit, we are able to offer highly flexible, tailor-made pet visits 7 days a week, often at short notice.
We completely understand that every animal is different, and we will always do our best to cater for the needs of our clients and their pets. Our goal is to provide as personal service as possible, and to look after your pets as if they were our own. Our animal-loving staff are all first aid trained, fully insured & DBS checked.

Getting Started
Before we start to look after your pets or your home, it is of course important that we meet so that you can decide if we are the right people for you. We are more than happy to visit your home, where you will have the opportunity to ask us any questions, and we will also have a few questions for you.
If we are looking after your pet, we will ask for details such as vet information, feeding schedule and house rules. We will also ask for entrance procedures to your home, and a general overview of what you’d like us to do while on our visit.
Additionally, please let us know if there's anything around the home you'd like us to do too - watering house plants, putting bins out/bringing them in etc.
We always provide regular updates and photos to keep you informed about your pets while you're away. We understand that every pet has unique needs, and we are committed to ensuring their happiness and wellbeing, so if you have any specific instructions, please share them with us.
